MaxBounty is a CPA (cost per action) advertising network that connects advertisers with affiliates. The program works by paying publishers via performance marketing. Performance marketing means that an affiliate gets paid by advertisers when a certain action has been completed whether it’s a click, a lead or a sale.
If you like the idea of multiple ways to earn with an affiliate network, there are a few others with similar features you may want to join as well such as the following:
According to our research, there is no cost to join MaxBounty as an affiliate.
As long as you follow the rules, there’s a lot of potential to make money here. How much money you make will depend on the types of ads you run on your site and the traffic as well as the number of click throughs on those ads.
In other words the more targeted traffic you can get, the more money you can probably make. So with that in mind, you may want to join Wealthy Affiliate which will teach you how to get tons of FREE traffic from Google.
MaxBounty pays affiliates weekly. Payments can be made via check, eCheck, ACH, Wire, Bitcoin or Paypal. There is a minimum payout of $100 or the minimum set by the affiliate, whichever is greater.
Commission payments are released 15 days from the last business day of the month. After an affiliate has received one payment electronically, you can change the payment setup to weekly. The options vary depending on your country of residence.
Affiliates who sign up with MaxBounty must provide valid and correct contact information including name, address, phone number and email address. This information must be kept up to date. Now that we laid out the particulars, let’s discuss what we like about Maxbounty.com
Voted Best CPA Network: MaxBounty was voted the best CPA network by advertisers and affiliates for the years 2014, 2015 and 2016.
Great Referral Program: As a new affiliate you can earn a $1,000 bonus if you make $1,000 commissions for three months payable in the fourth month.
Affiliate Rewards: In the past, MaxBounty has awarded the top affiliates with a retreat to Banff covering flights, meals, lodging and activities.
Affiliate Managers: all affiliates are assigned affiliate managers to help them.
Now we discussed what we like about Maxbounty, what about complaints? Every network will have a few complaints. Our research found the following:
A pretty strict approval process
The online application process is pretty detailed. You also need to outline your experience with affiliate marketing. Even after you submit your application, there’s still another hoop to get through. An affiliate manager will evaluate your application and call you to discuss how you plan to promote products. If you don’t meet their approval, you won’t be accepted.
High cashout minimum
The minimum cashout is $100. If you don’t reach the minimum payout, your earnings roll over to the next month and continue to roll over until you reach the minimum. If your site doesn’t get enough traffic or you’re not promoting well, it could take a long time to get a payout.
Affiliates Being Banned
Make sure you follow all the rules! If you don’t, you get banned! And Maxbounty doesn’t necessarily tell you why you are being banned. And there’s no real comeback either. If you are banned for any reason, you’ll receive a termination letter. If you think you’ve been wrongfully terminated from the program, you can plead your case. Just know that by the time you get a termination letter, it’s already too late and there are only rare instances where an affiliate is given another chance.
Some the complaints above may give you pause. Fortunately there are many other affiliate networks out there. Furthermore you should always have multiple streams of income anyway. So with that in mind, you may want to check out iGain.com & Traffic Jam Media.
Regardless of the network you join, you probably need more FREE traffic or a website. Either way, Wealthy Affiliate can teach you with step by step training.
