Adbuff Review: Is It The Best Adsense Alternative Yet?

Monetizing your website as a blogger or publisher is one way of making money while sleeping. As great as that may sound, not all networks are worth joining. You probably landed here while checking out Adbuff reviews to determine whether it’s a worthy alternative to Adsense as they claim.

Well, we have all you need to know about the network. Unfortunately you may not like some shocking truths about the company. So we would advise you to read this Adbuff review carefully.

Who Is Adbuff?

Adbuff.com is a CPM-based ad network that enables advertisers to show banner ads on publishers’ websites. It has been widely credited as the leading AdSense alternative, having been around since early 2016. The company is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario although we don’t know who owns the company at this time.

How Does Adbuff Work?

At the time of this review, Adbuff focuses on banner and text ads for both desktop and mobile, with ad formats being closely similar to Adsense.

As a publisher, once you sign up and get accepted, advertisers will be able to view your site’s stats and place bids for your ad space.

As an advertiser, you’re invited to set bids for your ads that will be displayed on a publisher’s platform based on a specified category or niche. Adbuff will then select the highest bidder and display their ad to the publisher’s site or platform.

When a visitor clicks on the ad, the publisher earns revenue. They will then pay you whatever you’ve earned at the next billing cycle as long a you beat the minimum payment threshold.

Adbuff Features

Adbuff claims the features are designed to integrate with your site’s content seamlessly. With that in mind, let’s dive into some of these features.

Clean Ads – They don’t show unwanted pop-ups, malicious download, code injection or even a slightly questionable ad. Every ad is rated G and is acceptable for family audiences from respectable advertisers.

These features sound great, with a 100% fill rate and personalized customer service. However, you need tons of traffic to get the most out of them. So if you would like to increase your site’s traffic, you can join Wealthy Affiliate and learn how you can get tons of free traffic from Google. It’s FREE to get started.

Adbuff Complaints

So now you know how the company works. But here are a few complaints you may want to keep in mind.

High Minimum Traffic Requirements – You can only join if you get at least 2000 daily unique visitors. That’s quite high if you are a new blogger or depending on your niche.

Speak English Please – At the time of this review, they only accept English traffic from US, UK, Canada, and Australia. So that limits folks that serve other countries. But if you don’t meet these requirements, you can check out Maxbounty.com, Traffic Jam Media, or iGain.com as an alternative option.

Payment Minimum Sucks – You’ll need a minimum of $100 to get paid via PayPal ($500 for Wire). Some may consider that a bit high. But if you have enough quality traffic it shouldn’t be an issue.

No BBB Profile – At the time of this review, Adbuff is not listed with the Better Business Bureau, so it’s up to you to decide whether that’s a deal breaker or not.

Should You Join Adbuff?

Adbuff may be a great ad exchange to try if you have the traffic and are okay with their tough requirements. Newcomers in the industry may however find it hard breaking bank with the network. But in comparison, they’re getting closer to beating its direct competition with rates almost similar to Google’s Adsense.

Furthermore they give you a personal account manager, access to some of the best advertisers around, weekly bonuses, a $25 sign up bonus and on-time payments. It may be a late bloomer compared to other networks in the industry, but it is showing great potential so far.

That said, in order to get the higher paying ads, you will need to build your website up, and get tons of targeted English based traffic that will generate quality clicks for advertisers. That’s the best way to convince them to bid higher for space on your site. With that in mind, consider joining the Wealthy Affiliate training program which has some of the best tools, training and strategies that will help you get tons of FREE search engine traffic. It will then be easier to get advertisers to bid highly on this or other networks. Best of all getting started with Wealthy Affiliate is FREE.

You can also check out other networks such as Maxbounty.com, Traffic Jam Media, or iGain.com if you can’t meet Adbuff’s requirements at this time.
