Clean Ads – They don’t show unwanted pop-ups, malicious download, code injection or even a slightly questionable ad. Every ad is rated G and is acceptable for family audiences from respectable advertisers.
These features sound great, with a 100% fill rate and personalized customer service. However, you need tons of traffic to get the most out of them. So now you know how the company works. But here are a few complaints you may want to keep in mind.
High Minimum Traffic Requirements – You can only join if you get at least 2000 daily unique visitors. That’s quite high if you are a new blogger or depending on your niche.
Speak English Please – At the time of this review, they only accept English traffic from US, UK, Canada, and Australia. So that limits folks that serve other countries. But if you don’t meet these requirements, you can check out Maxbounty.com, Traffic Jam Media, or iGain.com as an alternative option.
Payment Minimum Sucks – You’ll need a minimum of $100 to get paid via PayPal ($500 for Wire). Some may consider that a bit high. But if you have enough quality traffic it shouldn’t be an issue.
No BBB Profile – At the time of this review, Adbuff is not listed with the Better Business Bureau, so it’s up to you to decide whether that’s a deal breaker or not.
Should You Join Adbuff?
Adbuff may be a great ad exchange to try if you have the traffic and are okay with their tough requirements. Newcomers in the industry may however find it hard breaking bank with the network. But in comparison, they’re getting closer to beating its direct competition with rates almost similar to Google’s Adsense.
Furthermore they give you a personal account manager, access to some of the best advertisers around, weekly bonuses, a $25 sign up bonus and on-time payments. It may be a late bloomer compared to other networks in the industry, but it is showing great potential so far.
That said, in order to get the higher paying ads, you will need to build your website up, and get tons of targeted English based traffic that will generate quality clicks for advertisers.
