As bloggers we’re in a never-ending journey of finding the best ways to make money with our sites. But not all networks are worth monetizing with, especially if you don’t know anything about them. I’m probably preaching to the choir here, and that’s why you’re going through AdHitz reviews.
Well our research has revealed some things about this network that may have you second guessing it. We listed all the good and bad we have found in this AdHitz review. Don’t join this network until you read it.
AdHitz.com is a website that enables publishers to sell ad space on their sites to advertisers. The company is a subsidiary of Clixsense, a similar company founded by James Grango. AdHitz is currently headquartered at 734 W. Liberty St, Rome, NY 13440, US.
As a publisher you simply have to add your website to their database. You’ll then create ad zones, set the price and the type of ads you allow. Their system will then generate a piece of HTML code that you’ll place on your web pages. Once you place the code, their Network Ads will start showing on your pages immediately.
For advertisers, AdHitz allows you to buy ad space from their network of publishers. You’ll get access to stats and graphs of your ads performance including impressions, CTR and more. They claim to have a flat rate CPC and you only pay for impressions that convert to click-throughs.
AdHitz like most networks will have some unique features that may enhance your income, they are as follows:
Multiple Ad Formats: AdHitz offers 13 different sizes for text ads and 4 different sizes for images. Their ad formats include the following.
Alternate Ad Streams – As a publisher you have the opportunity to earn from 2 ad streams; site specific ads and network ads. Site Specific Ads allows advertisers to elect a specific website and their ads will only be shown on that one website, not across the entire network. Network Ads are the conventional filler ads and you’ll be earning from them when available.
These features sound great, especially Site Specific Ads that allow you to set your own rate. But the only way these features will be of any use to you is if you have traffic, and tons of it. So if you’re looking for strategies and tools that will help you get more traffic to your site, consider joining Wealthy Affiliate. The program trains you on how to get tons of FREE, organic traffic from Google and lots of other proven strategies that help you monetize your site better. It’s free to get started.
How much money you can make AdHits depends on two things. The nature and amount of traffic you have, and the ad stream you qualify for. If you have enough traffic to show site specific ads, you’ll set your own rate. If you qualify for network or filler ads you’ll be earning anywhere between $0.06 and $0.18 per valid click. Either way AdHitz keeps 30% of your revenue. All the same, the nature and amount of your traffic determines how much money you make.
Once you’ve earned at least $25, they’ll send your payment to either a PayPal or Payza account. They issue payments once a month on or before the 10th.
Joining AdHitz is free. All you have to do is go here and submit the necessary information including your name, email, location and so on. You’ll then fill in your site’s details on the next page. Approval shouldn’t take more than 48 hours if everything goes as planned.
So once you get approved, you can go to the Publishers’ login area and kick things off. You can then set up your web page to start showing ads.
To contact Adhitz Support you’ll have to submit a ticket here to the relevant department and they’ll get back to you via email. They don’t appear to have Live Support.
So now you have an idea of what AdHitz works. But now let’s get into the complaints against AdHitz so you can better decide whether it’s worth it to work with them.
You Can Get Banned For Silly Reasons
Obviously there are always two sides to a story but some publishers say they got kicked out of AdHitz for apparently having invalid or fraudulent clicks. If they ban you they hold your money even if you qualify for pay.
Customer support can do better
Users claim that customer support is not always available, as you’ll have to file a ticket to contact them. Their response is also not always immediate, especially when money is involved. Bottom line is you may have to wait for longer than necessary to get your issues solved.
No BBB Profile.
At the time of this review, AdHitz is not listed with the Better Business Bureau. So it’s up to you to decide if that is important to you or not.
AdHitz is a great platform to monetize especially if you’re just starting out. They don’t have a minimum traffic volume requirement and the minimum payment threshold is pretty low. Some say it’s AdSense for low budget bloggers while others say it’s the ideal learning platform for novice bloggers. Perhaps their customer service may be slow and they can ban you for such things as clicking your own ads, but overall it’s not a scam.
So if you decide to join this, or just about any other network, the amount of traffic you have will determine your paycheck. Remember with AdHitz you can even set your own rate. So if you could use more website traffic, joining Wealthy Affiliate may be exactly what you need. You’ll have access to proven strategies tools, training and methods of getting free, organic traffic that will entice advertisers to buy ad slots on your site. Best of all it’s free to get started!
